The OECD Policy Monitoring and Evaluation report is the world’s largest source of agricultural incentives measures and the major source of data on agricultural incentives. The 2023 edition of this annual report was released on 30 October.
A key highlight from the report shows that total support to agriculture reached $US 851 billion per year in 2020-22. The report also finds that support policies are largely hindering the critical need for adaptation to climate change. The share of support provided to support investment in vital services has declined from 16 percent of total support in 2000-02 to 12.5 in 2020-22.
